Fashion and Textile designer Joanna Vanderpuije hails from Central Saint Martins- Foundation, BA Fashion and finally MA Fashion. Throughout her degree Joanna worked for the likes of Alexander McQueen, Jonathan Saunders and Eley Kishimoto.
It is on the MA course in which she won the prominent award for both her designs and prints for Diane von Furstenberg. This led to her being invited by Diane to work in New York creating prints for DVF before returning to London to present her final collection at the Central Saint Martins A/W 2008 show.
Since graduating Joanna has presented her A/W 09 capsule collection with an exceptional response and has since shown Spring/Summer 2010 at London Fashion Week. She then took on the role as a headline designer abroad. Following this she worked as a US Vogue Assistant on editorials with David Sims...only to come back with her own staples line VALOUR/VANDERPUIJE. Her work fuses exceptional graphic hand drawn screen prints with impeccable cut.
